Our department places great importance on humanities education. While intellectual education is the focus of our curriculum design, it is not the only teaching objective. The principles of moral education, aesthetic education, and group education are also integrated into our teaching activities.

To cultivate students' humanistic literacy, our department offers elective courses covering a wide range of topics related to France. These include French literature history, significant historical events of France, the history of the French language, French art and culture, and more. This ensures that during their four years in the French department, students not only build a solid language foundation but also gain a comprehensive understanding of French culture. In addition, to meet students' needs, we also offer business-oriented courses such as commercial French and news reading with a focus on political and economic themes.

Beyond classroom learning, to enhance students' interest in learning French and to provide clearer career planning, the French Club organizes a series of activities every academic year.
